Consultations start online: BHR's intake form asks for uploaded photos of the front, top, sides and back, plus family hair-loss history, current medications, prior transplant surgery and stated goals 4. The clinic says this lets Bisanga evaluate the photos and return a treatment plan with a cost estimate 2. Aftercare, per the FAQ, uses anti-bacterial cleansers and shampoos, generally for two weeks before a return to normal hair care 3.

On 2022-06-27, they reported being quoted around 13,000 AUD for 2,500 grafts by what they described as 'a reputable clinic in Germany,' later identified as Dr Bisanga's BHR clinic, and were asking how to arrange payment while overseas — no travel or procedure had happened yet. As of December 2025 they were weighing Christian Bisanga — paired with Dr Abby or Dr Kostis, with Bisanga handling only recipient-area incisions rather than donor extraction — against Dr Lupanzula, Dr Emile Georges, and other surgeons for a planned 2000-2500 graft densification of the mid-scalp and hairline. A few months post-op they called it 'a great experience' (caveating results weren't final), and by about 2 months said they were 'already happy with my results.' By the week-20 update they described the whole process as 'so great,' praised communication with Bisanga's team and the doctor as fantastic, and said 'I would highly recommend!' A later 2022 comment mentions having had two transplants with Bisanga but is purely about recovery logistics, with no evaluative comment and no price or complications ever stated.
