He has not been operated on by Dr. Armando Carreno. In a thread asking for Mexico recommendations, he lists Carreno in Tijuana as one of three options, saying he has seen roughly 4500-5000 dollars for him, which is secondhand and not a quote he received. He needs about 3k follicular units and says he found no patient reviews for two other clinics he is weighing.

Glum-Green-6183 says their first procedure, about two years before their May 2025 comment, was with Dr Carreno at Capilea in Tijuana, and that growth came between months 3 and 4. They give no verdict, graft count or price for that procedure. Their second FUE, 12 weeks before the post, was with a different doctor, Dr Lastra. Asked about Carreno's reputation, they said they had never heard any negative comments about his work.

He described a first consultation and a second one for his questions, a hairline sketched and approved before surgery, and the doctor checking in during the procedure. About three months after, he said "Results are good I’m satisfied with it, I would do it again", and that Dr Armando is very responsive on WhatsApp.
