He chose the more expensive clinic because it made him feel "in good hands", and says £6k is the highest price they go with no extras to pay. At 6 months he wrote "Don't regret it one bit!", and later called the process "fantastic" with excellent aftercare and a patient surgeon who worked with him on the hairline.

Graft counts vary across their posts (about 1700, 1500 and 1250), so no single figure is given here. At day 14 they had 'Healed really well'; at 5 months the result was thicker on one side, and at 10 months they described a lot of shock loss around month 2 while the photos showed strong density. They described the approach as conservative and natural and gave no written overall verdict.

By June 2026 they had had the transplant and posted a week-2 update with no overall verdict. They described sleeping as painful for the first couple of weeks, and by day 15 they could go out with most scabs gone. No graft count or price is stated.

Throwawayrandom234 has not had surgery. He was assessed by video call and photos by Dr Raja and by another London clinic, and both said he needs two transplants. He was quoted £7.6k for 6k grafts across two procedures (the thread does not say which clinic gave the quote) and asked others whether that is reasonable. He gave no opinion on Dr Raja.

Raja quoted around 2500 grafts for the frontal third and advised medication only for the rest for now. He said all three have produced great results but that Raja 'felt a bit quiet, practice didn’t seem the most organised', and by the end of the thread he leaned heavily towards another surgeon, Dr Mani.

Traditional_Leader41 (Leeds) paid £6,000 for 1,874 grafts (4,248 follicles) with Dr Raja at Manual Clinic in 2024, with consultation and aftercare included. At just past month 3 they said they could not complain about the surgery at all, calling him clean, trustworthy and professional, though they described the price as not cheap. In a later post in December 2024 they said they were over the moon so far with their results.

MelodicProject6732 had only a consultation at Manual clinic's London site, where Dr Furqan Raja has good reviews though not that many. The website said £4-6k depending on grafts, but at the consultation he was told he probably needed 1800 grafts and that after a price revision it was about £7000. He found this dubious and said it felt like false advertising meant to pressure people into spending more, and that what he experienced "doesn’t exactly inspire confidence". He was torn between staying in the UK and flying to Turkey.

Nugget8x55 has not had surgery and is considering Dr Raja's clinic. After a phone consultation told him he was not eligible as a diffuse thinner, an in-person second opinion with Dr Raja said he could absolutely have a transplant; the plan discussed is about 4000 grafts in two operations roughly six months apart, with 10% off the second and 2 years of free minoxidil and finasteride. He says these people do seem good and he felt reassured talking to them in person, but he cannot afford it yet and is still looking at other clinics.

CatFine3388 (Norwood 4) asked in August 2023 whether a £8k quote for 2000 grafts from The Private Clinic in London, with Dr Furqan Raja, was a rip-off. They also had a Leeds quote of £7.5-£9k for 2500-3000 grafts. They gave no verdict on Dr Raja and had not had surgery.
