Dr. Özlem Biçer studeerde in 1998 af aan de medische faculteit van Trakya University en heeft sinds 2002 een eigen kliniek met vergunning in Istanbul 2. De kliniek stelt dat zij maar één patiënt per dag behandelt, voor volledige aandacht, al adverteert de homepage met "28 Years of Experience" gerekend vanaf 1998, een paar jaar vóór de opening van de kliniek in 2002 1.
Behandelingen en technieken
Het aanbod omvat FUE met micromotor en handmatig (punches van 0,7-0,9 mm), FUT (strip), ongeschoren FUE met lang haar, lichaamshaartransplantatie vanuit baard of borst, reconstructief en corrigerend werk, en baard-, wenkbrauw- en haartransplantatie bij vrouwen 3. Dr. Biçer doet zelf het oogsten van de grafts en de incisies in het ontvangstgebied, terwijl verpleegkundigen de grafts onder een microscoop bekijken en een team van drie ze plaatst, met haar de hele tijd aanwezig 3. Eén FUT-strip levert meestal 1.500-2.500 grafts op en wordt gesloten met een trichofytische hechting voor een minder zichtbaar litteken; FUE-sessies met lang haar van 3.000 grafts of meer kunnen meerdere dagen nodig hebben en worden omschreven als trager en duurder dan geschoren FUE 3.
Prijzen
Volgens de prijzenpagina kost geautomatiseerde FUE €3 per graft, met een vaste basisprijs van €6.000 voor ingrepen tot 2.000 grafts, en kost handmatige FUE €4 per graft (tot 2.000 grafts in één sessie) 4. Boeken en nazorg
Patiënten sturen foto's en video via een consultformulier, die Dr. Biçer bekijkt voordat zij een persoonlijke offerte stuurt, zo nodig aangevuld met een online consult 3. Wie een dag vóór de ingreep aankomt, krijgt bloedonderzoek, een ECG en een persoonlijk consult waarin het definitieve aantal grafts en het plan worden vastgesteld; Dr. Biçer ontwerpt de haarlijn daarna op de dag van de ingreep samen met de patiënt 3. Een meertalige consulent is bereikbaar via WhatsApp, en het contact loopt minstens een jaar na de ingreep door 1. Correcties worden ingepland naar oordeel van Dr. Biçer: gratis voor 50-200 grafts, €2.000 tot 1.000 grafts 4.
Kwalificaties en lidmaatschappen
De kliniek stelt dat zij lid is van de International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery 1. Ze staat ook in de ledenlijst van de IAHRS 5. Haar over-ons-pagina vermeldt ABHRS onder "Educator Roles" en niet als vermelde diplomate-kwalificatie, naast lidmaatschappen van TBB, FUE EUROPE, AAAM, TSHRS, MESTDER, MED, MS en TTB 2.

In August 2024, OP was comparison-shopping for a hairline-only FUE (starting NW3, on finasteride 5 years) and was quoted about 2,000 grafts by Dr. Bicer, versus 2,500 by Cortez and HMR, while Turan and Gur said hairline-only wasn't feasible for them. OP noted Bicer had no problem accommodating a non-shave approach to keep recipient hair as cover-up, and Bicer advised against adding density grafts to the front-mid scalp to avoid risking trauma loss to native hair there. No booking, payment, or surgery with Bicer had occurred as of these posts, so OP has not reached an overall verdict.

The day after surgery he said the whole process went great and he felt very comfortable around her and the team, but by his 9-month update he reported he was 'not too happy' because he hadn't recovered from shock loss (or, as he put it, his pattern baldness may have accelerated since the transplant).
