got_gets put down a $2k deposit for May 2024 with Dr Roy Stoller in New York, who does not go by graft count but said they would need about 2,300 grafts for around 11k. Unsure that would give the density they wanted, they cancelled and chose Dr Laorwong in Bangkok instead. They say that after several back and forths about why they were cancelling, they got the deposit refunded. They had no surgery with Stoller.

gymguy1110 was choosing between Dr. Bloxham and Dr. Stoller in NYC for an FUE in October 2025 and had not had surgery. He said he was quoted 7500 by Dr. Stoller of Maxim Hair Restoration in NYC but cannot find many reviews on him, and 8000 by Bloxham. He gave no verdict.

LeanBulk98 had a consultation with Dr. Roy Stoller in NYC (not surgery) about repairing a transplant he says was botched by a Turkish hair mill at age 23. Stoller quoted 9.4k to fix the damage, revise the hairline, graft 2000 grafts including from the beard, add scalp micropigmentation and dissolve forehead scar tissue. He said he 'liked his vibe' but was still shopping around, wanted to avoid being upsold, and had also contacted Wolfeld, Bloxham and Bernstein.

Juwafi had an FUT of around 3200 grafts with Dr Stoller in 2026 and commented the same week that "Dr Stoller was great." They say he met with them, designed the hairline with small natural irregularities, extracted the grafts and made the incision sites, while technicians placed the grafts, and that they saw him in Minnesota. They plan to post a review once the hair has grown out in late summer or fall; no price or results yet.

UsedToBeBald had a consultation with Dr Stoller after a 2 week wait, not surgery, and said they were "kind of on the fence with the experience". They went on to have 2200 grafts of FUE with a different surgeon, Dr Wolfeld. No details of what Stoller recommended, said or charged are given.

He wrote that he "got a funny vibe there ... not necessarily negative, but funny enough to want to explore" other options, without saying what the vibe was or what he was quoted.
