He says Bircan designed the hairline and opened the FUE channels himself, while nurse teams did extraction and implantation. He shed almost all new and native hair, growth stopped, then restarted strongly around month 4. At about 2 years he said he was happy and saw no donor scars, but felt aftercare instructions and post-op availability could have been better, and the crown was left untreated.

At month 9, in a thread asking about surgeons for a $8k budget, they said they "liked my experience with Dr. Sait Bircan", describing a very natural hairline, an untouched-looking donor and many compliments. They said they may hold off on a second transplant, though they expected to need two, and had not yet posted photos.
