Behandelingen en technieken
De kliniek biedt FUT, FUE en een gecombineerde FUT+FUE+BHT-aanpak (body hair transplant), naast haartransplantatie voor vrouwen en baard- en snortransplantatie.4 Body hair transplant wordt apart beschreven als methode om haar op de borst, wenkbrauwen, snor of baard te herstellen.5 Ook biedt de kliniek correctie van eerdere "bad" of "wrong" transplantaties, waaronder correctie van de haarlijn en verwijdering van grove (pluggy) grafts.5 Eén sessie gaat tot meer dan 3.500 grafts (een GIGA-sessie) met een dichtheid van maximaal 75 folliculaire units per vierkante centimeter; bij FUE-extractie wordt een door de Amerikaanse FDA goedgekeurd S.A.F.E.-systeem gebruikt, en FUT-wonden worden gesloten met een trichofytische methode die volgens de beschrijving minimale littekens geeft.6 FUT kan naar verluidt tot drie keer worden herhaald vanuit dezelfde donorstrook.5 Voor de implantatie beschrijft de kliniek een "no root touch technique" met een implanter pen, zodat de grafts niet direct worden aangeraakt, in combinatie met snel oogsten en vroeg implanteren om de tijd buiten het lichaam te beperken, plus een verdovingsmiddel met één injectie voor langere ingrepen.7
Prijzen
De kliniek publiceert geen concrete prijs en stelt dat de uiteindelijke kosten pas na een consult ter plaatse worden vastgesteld.7 Als algemene marktcontext, en niet als specifieke offerte van Medispa, noemen de kostenpagina's een prijs per graft van ongeveer INR 50 tot INR 160 en totale kosten voor de ingreep tussen INR 60.000 en INR 400.000.7 De kliniek stelt dat ze geen kortingen geeft en na de offerte geen kosten toevoegt.7 Ook adverteert ze met een financieringsoptie met 0% EMI.5
Boeken en nazorg
De kliniek biedt zowel een gratis online consult als een consult ter plaatse.4 Ze zegt dat er geen vaste leeftijdseis is, maar koppelt geschiktheid aan stabiel, niet-voortschrijdend haarverlies, voldoende donorhaar en het ontbreken van ernstige medische aandoeningen.5 Voor patiënten van buiten de stad en uit het buitenland biedt ze een verblijfspakket van 3 dagen met zorg en planning voor en na de ingreep.5
