He said the doctor designs the hairline and makes the recipient holes while very senior technicians do the rest, which worried him until he met the team. He reported the procedure as virtually painless and posted updates at 3 and 6 months ("Over the moon, absolutely no regrets"), and later said he was still over the moon 2 years on.

At 10 days he said results had exceeded his expectations; at 7 months he was 'very happy with the result', with the front thick and still improving. He called the doctor and clinic staff great and good value, and said donor pain lasted longer than expected. In September 2024 he said the front results had been 'life changing' and he was waiting for the crown to fill in.

JackM29383, 24, had 1600 grafts with Dr Ahmad Moussa at Surgery Group in Nottingham, UK for 4100 pounds, and posted two weeks after surgery. Because of his age, he and the doctor went conservative with the hairline and graft count so the hair can last him for life and leave grafts for later. He says the first two weeks seem to have gone well; at two weeks no results are yet expected.

At 6 months he called it 'a game changer for me personally', noting uneven growth between the temples that he expected to catch up. He later went back for a second operation on the mid scalp and crown in December 2023, saying the first 'yielded good results' and describing Moussa's hairline design as traditional and conservative, which suits him.

lowhooter had his first transplant, an FUE of 2200-2400 grafts per the thread title, with Dr Ahmad Moussa at the Wimpole clinic in Nottingham in 2026, and said the day after that he was happy with how the day went; the procedure took about 6 hours. About 3 months in he reports itching he thinks is new hairs poking through, thickening in the middle and limited new growth at the hairline, and expects it to be good in 2-3 months. No price is given.

RealisticResource182 had about 1400 grafts at the hairline with Dr Ahmad Moussa of Surgery Group UK in late 2022, paying about 3.6k GBP. Days after surgery he said it was totally worth it. At about 20 months he called Moussa a super professional and well reasoned guy but said he was ultimately hoping for more grafts (quoted about 1.6 thousand, got 1.4), found the result very light compared with his native hair and was considering another transplant for density. Commenters said the result looks thick and full.

chewitdudes posted five weeks after a roughly 1650-graft procedure (about 400 singles, the rest multis) with Dr Moussa at the Wimpole clinic in the UK in 2025, worried that density would not be there. They say the clinic told them swelling makes the grafts look further apart and that grafts were placed around native hair, and that the hairline design was mostly their own choice. Commenters were split: some said it may turn out fine at five weeks, others who used the clinic reported being happy or, after 18 months, poor density. No price is given.

The user reported 2300 grafts with Dr Ahmad Moussa at Surgery Group in Nottingham, which they said cost £5k, roughly the average UK price. At 6 months they wrote they were overall happy and that it was worth the money, though they felt parts of the hairline and just behind it could be denser. They described most growth coming in months 4-6, with little shedding.

stringofheartts had a brow transplant (not a scalp transplant) with Dr Moussa at The Surgery Group UK in Nottingham in January 2025 and posted the day after. They believe about 300 grafts were taken over a 5.5 hour procedure. They felt completely comfortable and safe with Dr Moussa and technician Philip and found removal and implanting pain-free. They swelled and bruised a lot and were given antibiotics and steroids; no result is shown yet.

Top_Positive_127 posted in February 2025 that his transplant at Wimpole clinic with Dr. Ahmad Moussa was mediocre and that he will have to go through it again sooner than he wanted. His main complaint was that the graft count was about 20 percent or more below what he was quoted; he also said the surgeon left before the end and technicians finished the procedure, and that he could not get anti-infection medication and had to collect it from his own pharmacy. He said the surgeon's work is fine and everything else was spot on, and he is now speaking to KSL and trying PRP.
