Dr. Hanjong Shin

Dr Hanjong Shin (신한종) is the chief executive and medical director of MoDerHamm Clinic, a hair transplant and hair loss clinic in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 12. The clinic's English site gives his name as Hanjong Shin 1. It says he completed his residency at Seoul National University Hospital and is a board-certified specialist there, without naming the specialty 1. It lists an earlier post as a director at the Mojelim Hair Transplant Center 1. The clinic names a second doctor, chief director Hanbyeol Jeong 1. In a September 2026 post on the clinic's blog he introduces himself as the clinic's director and reports a lecture at a KALDAT meeting in Busan 5.

The clinic says it offers strip surgery (FUT), FUE with partial shaving or without shaving, an implanter pen and a slit technique 1. Its Korean menu adds female hairline transplants, temple, sideburn and eyebrow transplants, scalp scar treatment and hair loss treatment 2. The site mentions an in-house team that dissects follicles and microscope monitoring during implantation 1. It lists three Korean patents for hair transplant devices and talks at KSHRS, ISHRS and other meetings, without naming the doctor for each 1. The site does not say which surgical steps Dr Shin performs himself 1.

The clinic's statutory fee list prices hair transplants per hair (모), not per graft 3. It gives KRW 2,310 to 3,000 per hair, including materials and drugs 3. It also lists bands by hair count, for example KRW 5,000,000 to 8,000,000 for 2,000 hairs or more 3. The list says prices vary with the method and the patient's condition 3. Because no hairs-per-graft ratio is given, there is no figure for 3,000 grafts 3.

He is listed as a member in the member finder of the Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (KSHRS) 6. The clinic says he is a member of the ISHRS, the KSHRS and the Korean Society for Aesthetic Surgery, and the academic director of KALDAT 1. He did not appear in the ISHRS public directory in October 2026, which lists only members who opt in 7.
