Dr. Ji-Sup Ahn

Dr Ji-Sup Ahn (안지섭) is the representative director of Dr. Ahn Hair Plant Clinic in Gangnam-gu, Seoul 12. The clinic offers hair transplants and hair loss treatment only 3. His ISHRS profile says he graduated from Keimyung University School of Medicine in 1995 and trained as a resident in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery 4. It says he did a clinical fellowship at the hair transplantation centre of Kyungpook National University Hospital from 2001 to 2004, and has directed his own clinic in Seoul since May 2004 4. The clinic describes itself as a partner clinic of that university centre for joint research 3. In October 2026 the clinic's media page posted a health column he wrote on choosing between strip and FUE surgery 5.

The clinic offers strip (FUT) surgery, FUE and unshaven FUE 36. Its menu also lists hairline correction for women, eyebrow and eyelash transplants, pubic hair transplants and a scalp treatment programme 3. A fee notice first posted in August 2021 and still on the clinic's site prices FUE per graft 6. It lists KRW 9,000 per graft for up to 500 grafts, KRW 8,000 for 501 to 2,000 grafts and KRW 7,000 from 2,001 grafts, on top of a KRW 500,000 base fee 6. Unshaven FUE is KRW 10,000 per graft 6. At KRW 7,000 per graft plus the base fee, 3,000 grafts would come to about KRW 21,500,000; this is our arithmetic, not a clinic quote 6. Strip surgery is priced by the number of hairs, not grafts, from KRW 5,000,000 to KRW 9,500,000, and the notice says the figure may be adjusted after the consultation 6.
