Dr Lars Heitmann runs his own hair surgery practice, Hair Clinic Dr. Lars Heitmann, at Forchstrasse 186 in Zurich, Switzerland 12. Procedures and techniques
The clinic says he has performed only FUE hair transplants since 2010 1. Its cost page says FUT (strip surgery) is not performed 4. The clinic says he extracts all grafts by hand with 0.75 to 1.00 mm punches and does not use micromotors 5. The clinic offers a free, non-binding consultation to work out the number of grafts 5. CuriousMindTree posted before, 2-week, 12-month and 24-month photos of an FUE of 1850 grafts (265 singles, 778 doubles, 807 triples) by Dr Lars Heitmann. They say the surgeon estimated a survival rate of at least 95% and that the change from month 12 to 24 was just longer hair. They give no price and no overall verdict in words, and mention that the surgeon took a couple of weeks to reply to a first contact.

Resident-Fall5858 has not had surgery and is deciding between Heitmann and Pekiner. He states Heitmann charges 6 euro per graft against 3 for Pekiner, without a total or inclusions, and says he thinks Heitmann is better and, as a one-time surgery, "he is worth the money". He also says Heitmann does his transplants alone and by hand, which is his own statement rather than a patient experience.
