Dr Maria Angélica Muricy Sanseverino is a dermatologist who directs the São Paulo branch of Clínica Muricy, a hair transplant clinic founded in Curitiba by plastic surgeon José Candido Muricy 5. The clinic's site says (in Portuguese) that she qualified in medicine in 1994 and trained in dermatology 3. Her ISHRS profile says she has worked only with hair treatments, surgical and non-surgical, since 1999 2. Her ABCRC profile says her hair surgery training began at Clínica Muricy in 1995 and that she has led her own surgical team in São Paulo since 2009 1. Her bio says she took part in more than 4,000 hair loss surgeries during her training 3.

The clinic performs FUE with the donor area shaved or unshaven, and says unshaven surgery takes longer and costs more 6.
