Founder and hair transplant surgeon·Hairmedico

Istanbul, Türkiye

Background

Dr Musbeh Arslan is the founder and lead hair transplant surgeon of Hairmedico in Levent, Istanbul 2. The clinic's about page also names a second doctor, Dr. Ahmet Serdar Şekerci, as a medical aesthetics and hair transplant surgery physician 2. The site writes his name as "Dr. Arslan Musbeh" 1. It lists a Doctor of Medicine degree from Odessa National Medical University in Ukraine (1993 to 2000) and a second one from Tours, France (2004 to 2008) 1. It also lists a university diploma in baldness treatment from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 in 2018, a course the site says he has taught on since 2019 1. His bio's career timeline dates his first hair transplant practice in Istanbul to 2005, while the same page gives his experience as 17+ years 1. The clinic says it also has a Paris centre for consultations and post-operative care, and a Luxembourg clinic for follow-up and PRP, with surgery done in Istanbul 2.

Procedures and techniques

The clinic offers Sapphire FUE, FUE and DHI, plus unshaven, beard, eyebrow, afro and female hair transplants 3. It calls him the creator of what it calls "Algorithmic FUE" 1. Its FUE page gives a 0.7 to 0.9 mm sapphire or titanium punch for extraction 7, and incisions are made with sapphire blades 4. The price page says Dr Arslan designs the hairline by hand before surgery, for every package tier 4. Who does each other step depends on the package 4. In Silver, extraction, incision and placement are done by the clinic's doctors and medical team 4. In Sapphire Gold, Dr Arslan makes the incisions; in Sapphire VIP he also does the extraction, while placement stays with the medical team 4. In DHI Gold he does the extraction, and only DHI VIP names him for graft placement as well 4. The about page says all procedures are performed by physicians, not technicians 2. The site does not say who makes up the medical team 4.

Pricing

As of October 2026 the price page gives "From €2,600" for the Sapphire Silver and DHI Silver packages, an all-inclusive starting price; the Gold and VIP tiers, where Dr Arslan does more of the surgery himself, are priced on request, with the graft count set by a personal assessment and the final figure quoted after a photo assessment 4. Packages include a 4-star hotel for two nights, VIP airport transfers, an aftercare kit with medication, the first wash at the clinic, PRP and 12 months of follow-up by WhatsApp 4. The UK, US and German figures on the same page are market averages, not Hairmedico prices 4.

Booking and aftercare

The clinic offers a free assessment from 3 to 5 photographs sent through its contact form or WhatsApp, and says Dr Arslan replies personally within 24 hours 5. Its homepage says it takes one patient per day 3. Follow-up runs for 12 months and is done through online consultations 4. Its patient coordination team communicates in English, French, Arabic, Russian and German 2.

Credentials and memberships

He is listed as a member of FUE Europe, with his clinic given as "Hairmedico,Powered by Lea Aesthetic" 6.

    male 2,200 grafts

delortAlex69 had a 2200-graft FUE with Dr Arslan at Hairmedico, recalling from memory the Gold package at around 3900 EUR including hotel, transfers and follow-up. In March 2024 he wrote in French that he was globally satisfied, that the consultation was honest with no over-promising and the doctor was present, and that shock loss at weeks 4-5 worried him but the hair grew back well. In a 2026 comment he again said the result was solid and the consultation detailed.

    2,970 grafts surgery 2025

Immediate-Switch-512 had a transplant by Dr Arslan Musbeh in November 2025 and was told 2970 grafts were implanted, but said they did not know if that was true. At 10 days post-op, writing in French, they were worried about a sparse area: the left side lacked density with grafts placed in lines, while the other side was "parfait". They felt the surgeon applied himself on one side and did the other quickly, and thought the count looked closer to 2200-2400. They were waiting for the result to grow in; no price is stated.

emojisarefunny posted a 9-month update after a 2400-graft transplant with Dr Arslan at Hair Medico in Turkey in 2025; no price or technique is given. He did not give an overall verdict and asked whether the current density is the final density to expect even 12+ months from now.

hos100 has not had surgery with Dr Arslan at Hairmedico and asked whether anyone has reviews or experience with him. He had added him to a list of about 20 reputable surgeons but cannot remember why. He says Dr Arslan is quoting £3500 for 3000 grafts FUE and sees only one patient per day; he gives no verdict.

They noted Bircan said they needed 2,500-3,000 grafts while Musbeh said 2,000-2,500. In March 2024 they wrote that they were flying out that week and could not review yet; no later report is available.

According-Bear-8421 had a second transplant in Istanbul with Dr. Arslan Musbeh at Hairmedico, told it was 2750 grafts, after a first transplant of about 1800 grafts five years earlier left a limited donor. They posted photos asking for opinions rather than giving a verdict, saying the doctor made more incisions than there were grafts available and wondering whether the grafts were counted or distributed wrongly. They are worried the crown and back, with about 800 grafts, will not look satisfying.

denverguy_303 had a 3,750-graft FUE mega session with Dr Arslan of HairMedico in Istanbul in December 2020, on the VIP package, with an all-in cost of around $5k USD (surgery, ground transport, 5-star hotel) plus about $800 flights. He chose the clinic because it was the only one that showed incredible patience answering all his questions, and says the doctor did the donor extraction, recipient channels and hairline while two technicians helped plant behind the hairline. The report is from the day after surgery, when he said he was happy so far; no later results were posted.

troopacoop has not had surgery and in March 2026 was choosing between Dr Musbeh Arslan at Hairmedico in Turkey and Dr. Gounnaris at Seneca in Greece, both recommended by Pekiner's office. For Hairmedico they would take the VIP package so Dr Arslan is involved in design, extraction and implantation of 2,600 grafts for $4,900; Seneca quoted $3,200 for 2,300 grafts. No verdict on either surgeon is given.

He says Arslan told him by email it would be a sapphire FUE needing 2500 grafts, while Yaman proposed DHI and 3000 grafts, and that he was leaning towards Yaman based on reviews and price. He gave no opinion of Arslan's work.

They had a Hairmedico consultation with an estimate of 2500 grafts, priced at 2500 euro for the standard package and 3500 euro for the VIP package, which they say means Dr Arslan does more of the work. They have not had surgery there and were also consulting US clinics, one quoting $12,000 for 2,000 grafts by FUE or $10,000 by FUT, and were leaning toward a domestic clinic.
