    Vitt1998 has not had surgery and is choosing between Dr. Portelli in Malta and Dr. Omer Aykut Sumer in Turkey, giving no overall verdict. For Dr. Sumer they report a quote of about 4,000 EUR with hotel included for around 4,000 grafts, with extraction and implantation done by him personally. They appreciated that he recommended waiting a few months after switching from oral to topical finasteride.

    adolphdvm went to MedArt in Turkey in 2025 and had 4,500 grafts with Dr Aykut Sumer. They chose the second of three service tiers, with the procedure, airport transfers and 3 nights at a nearby hotel coming to 3200 euro, plus 300 euro for a kit of meds and shampoo. They said the entire process and team was great and that they cannot recommend them enough. They had just returned, so no result is reported.

    WilliamsRoy2017 had a transplant at Dr. Omer Aykut Sumer's Istanbul office almost two months before April 2026 and gives no graft count, price or photos. He says Dr. Sumer did everything himself from the hairline drawing to extraction and implantation, that it was relatively painless, and that 'Dr. Sumer was exceptional, and is very good at what he does.' He had not yet seen results.

    He had surgery with Dr. Omer Aykut Sumer at Medart in Istanbul on 30 April 2025 on the elite package (3700-4500 grafts) priced at 3350, currency not stated. He chose the clinic for doctor involvement over a hair mill and says Dr. Sumer drew the hairline, made the incisions and checked on him at the first wash. A little over two months after surgery he said he was happy with his results so far.
