Dr. Pathompat Meelarp

Dr Pathompat Meelarp, known as Dr Paul, is the doctor behind Dr. PAUL Hair Clinic by AAC in Thailand 1. The clinic's site says (in Thai) that he earned his medical degree at Prince of Songkla University 1. It lists an evidence-based hair fellowship with the Donovan Hair Academy in Canada and a 2023 hair master class with Prof Antonella Tosti 1. The site says he first ran All About Clinic (AAC), a general clinic, and later split off the hair work as Dr. PAUL Hair Clinic 1. The clinic has branches in six provinces: Bangkok, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Korat, Ubon Ratchathani and Hat Yai 1. The doctor page says he has more than 10 years of experience and over 4,000 cases 1.

The clinic offers FUE, DHI and a technique called LEAN, which the site says Dr Paul developed 7. It describes LEAN as trimming fat tissue from each graft and using implanting tools suited to each scalp area 5. LEAN is also offered without shaving and as a long hair version 7. The doctor page says he also transplants eyebrows, beards and moustaches 1. The Bangkok branch takes repair cases from other clinics 4. The English site says a doctor and a transplant team carry out the procedure 5. The site does not say which steps he does himself or at which branches he operates 5.

The FUE page says FUE starts at ฿89 per graft 2. It works this out as ฿89,000 for 1,000 grafts and ฿267,000 for 3,000 grafts 2. A fixed-price FUE promotion, done as a review case by the medical team, starts at ฿75,000 whatever the graft count 3. The promotion page says DHI and the LEAN versions cost more than FUE 3. Payment in 10 interest-free monthly instalments is offered on selected credit cards 3. The site does not list what the price includes 23.

The clinic's Thai pages offer a free consultation 7. A doctor assesses the case and recommends the number of grafts and the technique 5. The promotion page mentions a results guarantee of up to 18 months, on the clinic's conditions, which are not published 3. The Bangkok branch is on Sukhumvit Road near Soi 67, close to BTS Phra Khanong, and is open daily from 11am to 8pm 4.

The clinic says he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and of the International Board of Hair Restoration Surgery 1. His name was not in our July 2026 capture of the ABHRS diplomate register 8. He is an ISHRS Full Member, listed at the Bangkok clinic, and joined in 2025 6. The site says he is a full member of FUE Asia, FUE Global, the Asian Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons and the World FUE Institute 1. It says he was scientific director of the FUE Asia ASEAN conference in 2024 1.
