Dr. Rahmanullah Hayat

Dr Rahmanullah Hayat, called Dr Rahman Hayat on the clinic site, is one of three hair transplant surgeons at HQ Hair Transplants in Cardiff 1. His bio says he studied biomedical sciences at Queen Mary University of London and medicine at Keele University 1. The GMC register lists his medical degree from Keele in 2022 2. The bio says he has worked in cardiothoracic, general and vascular surgery, acute and emergency medicine and psychiatry 1. It says he completed his ISHRS fellowship under Dr Humayoun Mohmand 1. The clinic is at 44 Charles St, Cardiff 3.

His bio says he performs both FUT (strip surgery) and FUE 1. The clinic uses the WAW FUE system 4. Its FUE page says the surgeon removes the follicles and makes the recipient incisions with a micro blade, while technicians place the grafts with forceps 4. This describes the clinic in general; it does not say which surgeon operates on a given patient 4. The FUE page says 2,500 to 3,500 grafts take an 8-hour session 4. He is not on the GMC Specialist Register or GP Register 2.
