Background
Robert Haber is a board certified dermatologist and pediatrician, per his practice's site.1 His CV lists him as president of Haber Dermatology, Inc. since 2002.2 The practice is based in Beachwood, Ohio.3 Patients always meet Dr. Haber himself at the first visit rather than a non-medical consultant, and the practice says consultant-model centers may rotate in out-of-town surgeons with inconsistent results.4 It adds that being locally based lets it address complications promptly at no extra fee, and that Dr. Haber performs a patient's future procedures himself.5
Procedures and techniques
The practice offers FUT, FUE, scalp micropigmentation, PRP, and Alma TED ultrasound treatment.6 Its graft approach uses intact follicular units of one to four hairs rather than minigrafts or round plugs.6 Recipient incisions are cut as microslits as small as 0.5mm, which the practice says allow denser packing and faster healing.6 For larger cases, megasessions of 2,000 to 3,500 grafts are performed with a team of nine surgical assistants, using a device Dr. Haber invented, the Haber Spreader, to separate the donor strip along a natural cleavage plane instead of cutting it; the practice says this often brings transection to zero and suits curly or grey hair.6 About a quarter of patients come for repair of transplant work done elsewhere.4 Women are described as good candidates for certain types of hair loss with sufficient donor density, though the practice notes donor-zone thinning in some women risks long-term dissatisfaction.6
Pricing
No per-graft rate or cost figure is published on the site. The practice instead argues its fees are more affordable than centers that employ paid consultants, which it says charge two to three times more.5

Credentials and memberships
Per the ISHRS's own directory, Haber holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Mohs Surgery, with membership in the ISHRS and the European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.7 His own site adds that he served as ISHRS President from 2002 to 2003.3
