He reports a 2016 FUT with Dr. Sara Wasserbauer, quoted at about 2200 grafts in some posts and about 1700 in others; no price is given. He says it did not take at all and left only a scar, with the left side showing plenty of scar tissue per his new surgeon. He calls her kind and her post-op care superb, but says the results were terrible. He later had a 1250-graft FUE repair with another surgeon and was asking about the best repair surgeons.

- Sept 2022 Concerned about the conservative graft count (1250) and would love some insight. 2.75 months out of an FUE to fix a botched HT and despite the ugly duckling … I’m concerned that it isn’t nearly enough. Thoughts? ↗

DO_MD had 2,800 grafts by FUE with Dr. Sara Wasserbauer in Walnut Creek in mid-2021 and says he paid $18,000. In the first months he reported bald spots in a line in the donor area and a sizeable indent, writing 'I wouldn’t recommend her office', and at 5 months the hairline looked 'alright' but thin and diffuse. In March 2022 he reported major improvement, with only one spot left, and replied 'Yes do it!' to someone considering her, so his stance moved from negative to mixed.

- Nov 2021 Exactly 1 year on finasteride and minoxidil. I also got a hair transplant 5 months ago but not on my crown so this growth is all from the meds. ↗
- Sept 2021 [UPDATE] About 4 months post-FUE at Dr. Sara Wasserbauer’s office in Walnut Creek. I have multiple bald spots in the donor area forming a line. They weren’t there in the first month. Last posted 2 months ago in post history. ↗ removed on reddit

Clear_Distribution78 says Dr Sara Wasserbauer did their procedure, in comments on another patient's failed-transplant thread. They say she tried to talk them out of surgery, thinking medical treatment could save them $16k, and refused to design a hairline they requested because it would not look natural as they aged. They describe their progress as nothing short of amazing and her ethics and skill as unreal. No graft count, price paid or date is given.
