Dr Su-gyun Kim (김수균) is the founder and director of Dr. Kim's Hair Surgery (김수균외과의원), a hair-transplant-only clinic on Yeongdong-daero in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 12. The clinic says Dr Kim started hair transplantation in 1994, opened the clinic in 1999 and has done more than 4,000 operations 4. The site says Dr Kim graduated from Kyungpook National University medical school, trained at its hair transplant centre under Professor Kim Jung-chul, and has held adjunct teaching posts there 1. The homepage carries notices dated 2025 and 2026 7.

The clinic does strip (FUT) surgery only and says it does not perform FUE 5. It describes its own strip closure method and an implantation technique it calls RST, said to leave almost no marks 6.
