Dr. Vincenzo Masullo

Dr Vincenzo Masullo leads Masullo Medical Group, a hair transplant centre run by Medical Group Srl 1. The clinic says (in Italian) that he has worked in trichology and hair transplantation for about 30 years and has performed more than 4,000 transplants 21. It says he graduated in medicine and surgery at the Second University of Naples and specialised in microbiology and virology at the University of Naples 2. It lists masters in hair loss surgery (Florence), aesthetic surgery (Milan) and plastic surgery (Padua), among others 2. Transplants are done at the Salerno site, Corso Garibaldi 119 34. The group also has consultation and follow-up sites in Naples, Rome, Bologna and Milan 3.

The clinic says it specialises in hair, beard and eyebrow transplants for men and women 1. Its Salerno page describes FUE and FUT, with PRP and mesotherapy as complementary treatments 4. Its FAQ describes transplants using body hair from the chest, arms or legs 5. In his bio, Dr Masullo says he long preferred FUT, even for 800 to 1,000 grafts, because manual FUE extraction was slow 2. He says he now uses the Punch Hair Matic device, which automates extraction and implantation, with punches from 0.8 to 1.4 mm 2. The site does not say which surgical steps he performs himself and which his team performs 2. The FAQ says a typical session lasts up to 4 hours, with consecutive days if more sessions are needed 5.

The clinic's price page, updated in July 2026, says it charges €2.50 per graft for the first 2,000 grafts and €2 per graft after that 6. It says the price includes B&B accommodation for the nights needed if agreed at consultation, post-operative products, bandage removal the next day, post-operative shampoos and mesotherapy, and monthly check-ups for two years 6. The clinic recommends a free consultation at any of its five sites 6. It says the first shampoo after surgery is done at the clinic 5. It says regrowth starts from the fifth month and final results show at 12 to 18 months 5.

The clinic says Dr Masullo is a voting member of the ISHRS and a member of FUE Europe and the Italian Society for Hair Restoration 2. It says he is on the Salerno medical register, number 9342 2. Registry records list him as an ISHRS Full Member at the Corso Garibaldi address and as a member of FUE Europe 78.
