Dr. Yi Jung Lin

Dr Yi Jung Lin (林宜蓉) is the chief physician at Gaudit Hair Transplant Clinic (高地植髮家診所) on Nanjing East Road, Taipei, Taiwan 12. The website is her own and says all consultations take place at the clinic 3. Her CV on the site lists China Medical University as her medical school 1. The site says (in Chinese) she has more than 18 years of hair transplant experience, though other pages give 15 or 20 years 31. It says she specialises in aesthetic design and large sessions, and can do eyebrows, sideburns and beard in the same operation 4.

The clinic's menu lists male and female hairlines, large sessions, repair transplants, and eyebrow, beard and sideburn transplants 3. It offers FUE with a 0.8 mm motorised punch and a strip method it calls FUS 5. It says the FUS donor wound is closed with a trichophytic closure to reduce the scar 6. It says FUS needs no shaving and suits cases over 2,000 hairs 6. It says the doctor implants the grafts herself with a patented disposable implanter pen, unlike clinics where technicians insert them 5. It describes large sessions as more than 4,000 hairs, and up to 7,000 to 8,000 hairs 7. It says donor elasticity, density and hair calibre are assessed before a large session 7.

The clinic publishes no prices 5. Its FAQ says the total is usually calculated per hair, from the area to be covered, and that an Asian graft holds about 1.7 hairs on average 5.

Registry records list her as an ABHRS diplomate and an ISHRS Full Member, not a Fellow, at the clinic's Taipei address 89.
