Dr. Yong-Uk Ko

Dr Yong-Uk Ko (고용욱) is one of the two representative directors of MOEM Clinic (모엠의원), a hair transplant clinic on Teheran-ro near Gangnam Station, Seoul 12. His bio lists degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles and Hanyang University School of Medicine, and calls him a specialist without naming the specialty 12. It lists him as author of the textbook Hairology and as a former director at Motion Clinic and Newhair Hair Plastic Surgery Clinic 2. The clinic's notice board has a post dated September 2026 5.

MOEM's own no-shave, non-incision method, which it calls Hidden Cut, makes up more than 80% of its surgeries together with its No Cut method, the homepage says 4. The clinic also does strip surgery, female hairline design, revision surgery and scar transplants, plus hair loss treatment and scalp tattooing 34. The homepage describes a 1:1 system in which one of the two chief directors follows each patient, but does not say who performs which surgical step 4.

MOEM's official fee list prices transplants by number of hairs, not grafts, with VAT of 10% extra 3. The listed minimums are KRW 5,000,000 for about 2,000 hairs, KRW 6,000,000 for about 3,000 hairs and KRW 7,000,000 for about 4,000 hairs 3. The list says non-incision grafts average 2 hairs each 3. Strip surgery is priced from KRW 1,600 to KRW 3,000 per hair depending on volume 3.

The Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (KSHRS) member finder lists him at MOEM Clinic 6. The clinic site lists him as a KSHRS member and an Associate Member of the ISHRS 2.
