Dr. Young Soo Jang

Dr Young Soo Jang (장영수) is a doctor at the men's hair transplant centre of Mojelim (모제림성형외과의원), a hair transplant clinic near Apgujeong Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul 16. The clinic's English site lists Dr Jang as "Director of Specialist Center for Men’s Large Scale Hair Transplant" 2. The site says Dr Jang graduated from Kyungpook National University College of Medicine, holds a master's degree from its graduate school and was a surgery specialist at Kyungpook National University Hospital 12. The Korean page lists Dr Jang as dedicated to revision surgery and as having trained in the clinic's own hair transplant education programme 1.

Mojelim dates its start to 1997 and describes itself as a clinic that does hair transplantation only 4. Its FUE page claims 130,490 operations as of 1 March 2026 5.

Mojelim offers strip (FUT) and FUE transplants, and its FUE page includes harvesting without shaving 5. The page gives about 8 hours of surgery under local anaesthesia or sedation, and says two follicle separators with at least four years' experience are assigned 5.

Dr Jang's page shows before-and-after photos credited to Dr Jang, including an FUE case of 1,000 grafts at 372 days and a strip case of 4,500 hairs at 449 days 1. The site does not say which surgical steps Dr Jang performs personally 1.

Mojelim's fee notice prices transplants by the number of hairs, not grafts, with 10% VAT included 3. It lists prices from KRW 2,000,000 for under 500 hairs up to from KRW 7,150,000 for 4,000 hairs, and from KRW 6,050,000 for 3,000 hairs 3. Per hair it lists from KRW 1,650 for strip and from KRW 3,000 for FUE 3. It says an FUE graft averages two hairs and that the price depends on the method and the patient's condition 3. The clinic is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, and is closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays 6.
