They had expected to need 2,500 grafts but Medlinks said 1,700. They say they would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Gaurang because of how accessible the entire team is, and call the aftercare, support and access to the main doctor incredible.

He chose Medlinks after 1 to 1.5 years of comparing dermatologists, citing simultaneous extraction and implantation and past patients' results. At 10 months he said people who do not know about the transplant say he has really dense hair, and he called the clinic the best bet for India. At 13 months he felt density had decreased since the previous month and wondered if malnutrition was a cause.

He had taken minoxidil twice daily and finasteride 1mg every other day for 6 months, and being told he would need medication for as long as he wants to keep his hair is putting him off. He gives no judgment of the surgeon yet.
