The user had 3,500 grafts with Dr Gaurang Krishna at Medlinks in Delhi in 2020 and says he paid INR 2,00,000. He chose Medlinks after 1 to 1.5 years of comparing dermatologists, citing simultaneous extraction and implantation and past patients' results. At 10 months he said people who do not know about the transplant say he has really dense hair, and he called the clinic the best bet for India. At 13 months he felt density had decreased since the previous month and wondered if malnutrition was a cause.

In November 2022 this user was 10 days from a transplant and said he was nervous and anxious. He says Dr Gaurang Krishna (Medlinks) suggested around 2,500 grafts in the front. He had taken minoxidil twice daily and finasteride 1mg every other day for 6 months, and being told he would need medication for as long as he wants to keep his hair is putting him off. He gives no judgment of the surgeon yet.

In a comment on a thread about a different doctor, this user says he had a similar experience with Dr. Gaurang of Medlinks Delhi, India. He says his donor region was over-harvested, leaving huge scars even with FUE, and that the transplant had a poor result because of wrong graft angles. He also says he was not told that implanting the crown is not advisable for young patients. He recommends against the surgeon as unethical; no graft count, price or date is given.
