Hair transplant recovery, month by month

What does month 3 actually look like? Instead of a clinic brochure, this page sorts 5,433 progress reports written by patients themselves on reddit (r/HairTransplants and r/tressless) by how long after surgery they were posted. Patients of 230 doctors in our directory are among them. For each stage you see how many people reported, what they mention, and their own words, each linked to the original thread. Worried about losing hair after surgery? See what patients report about shock loss. Not seeing the growth you hoped for? See what patients report about poor growth. Want to see final results? Browse patients' own before and after photos.

How to read these numbers

These are people who chose to post, not a clinical study. Nobody knows how many patients never posted, and a thread "mentioning" shock loss can be a worry as much as a diagnosis. So the counts show what patients talk about at each point, not how often something happens. A thread counts once, at the point after surgery the patient stated, even if it names several doctors. Removed threads are left out of the quotes. Your own surgeon's aftercare instructions come first.

SaveMyHairline is an independent hair transplant doctor directory: published prices, checked credentials and real patient reports, with sources — and no clinic can pay to appear.
